OTTAWA—As part of National Volunteer Week, Her Excellency Sharon Johnston and His Worship Jim Watson, Mayor of the City of Ottawa, will present the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers to 64 exceptional volunteers from Canada’s Capital Region during a ceremony at Ottawa City Hall, 110 Laurier Ave. West, on Friday, April 28, 2017, at 8:30 a.m. The Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers recognizes the remarkable volunteer achievements of Canadians from across the country in a wide range of fields.
